I live in Dronten, Flevoland. It is a “50 years young” part of The Netherlands, mostly an agriculture polder. The Flevo polder is my studio, there is a lot of beauty to enjoy, A lot of my work comes from this area.
I retired as an audio-visual designer at Wageningen University. My work was graphic/photographic design, photography and making videos to support research.
I made hundreds of short innovative interview videos and photo reportages. I’m also a photographer with free work. My home surrounding is my studio. I’m a humanist and like to travel, and meet other cultures; so I made a lot of photographs too. I’m also a documentary filmer.
As an artist, I’m active in different national and international art projects, often involved in the organization of all, so I met a lot of artists from all over the world.
