Yoo Seung Hwan
-
Hello, my name is Yoo Seung Hwan. I am working as a model in Korea, aiming to leave beautiful memories as I spend my middle years. I have been a model for 3 years, enjoying a fulfilling and fruitful life.
I am a member of a volunteer group called Let's Play in Korea Hanbok, where I actively promote Korean hanbok through volunteer work. Despite living a busy life, which has limited my exposure to our traditional culture, I have come to realize the value and beauty of our culture through modeling in my middle age.
It saddens me that many Koreans find hanbok uncomfortable and are reluctant to wear it, while people around the world adore it. To promote the beauty of hanbok, I frequently wear it myself and have joined the international art group IAC. There are many fields of art, but posing in hanbok fills me with a sense of patriotism and pride.
I hold great respect for King Sejong the Great from the Joseon Dynasty, who left behind numerous achievements for our country. I find joy in my middle years by donning the red dragon robe and Ikseonggwan (hat) worn by King Sejong the Great, feeling proud and happy as a Korean with each pose in my traditional attire.
Lastly, I hope you come to love Hanbok, our beautiful Korean clothing.
