Karina Zimerer is a Brazilian Visual Artist who lives in Brazil and Italy. Graduated in Anthropology, while still at university, she did a Dark Camera workshop participating in the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Since then she has appropriated this art to express her feelings and lifestyle, creating artistic images, appropriating hybrid and fine art photography.

She won a competition in Italy for the best nature photography portfolio and has some images published in online magazines in that category.

Recently dedicated to producing images inspired by a more visual, symbolic and poetic language. Going deeper into some distinct categories such as abstract and contemporary photography, which allows her to move between artistic production and the sale of images.

It is during her photographic production that she begins to reflect on her relationship with art and its influences on her creative process.
