from the Military Academy and became Heavy Artillery Cadet. This was far from my aspirations and to become a Sailor, which is why I decided to withdraw from the harsh military life. In that same year, I return to my home and begin to take the drawing workshops taught by the artist, Emilio Mora, at the Casa de la Cultura de Jagüey Grande and in that instant, I begin to focus on my childhood artistic concerns.
