Ukeme Daniel Udo is a contemporary artist born on February 26, 1989, in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Industrial Arts from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. From childhood, his aspiration has been to become a successful artist, a goal he continues to pursue with dedication and passion.
Udo constantly challenges himself to improve and evolve his craft. The central theme in his work is the exploration of time, energy, commitment, and consistency. He views his canvas as a platform for expressing his vision of the future. His art often highlights the history, culture, and traditions of African people in the diaspora.
Udo primarily works with oil paint, appreciating its flexibility for gradual development and corrections. He also employs acrylic paint. As an evolving, full-time studio artist, his artistic journey remains largely undisclosed to the art world.
