I create my work by painting a network of lines and dots. I use brush and Acrylic paint creating planes that compose images of vibrant colours making evidence of my Caribbean roots. I incorporate in my work themes of reality in which we are all interconnected, I experience my connection to the unity of which we are all composed from a grain of sand to a human body.
Painting is a journey into my inner self where I find myself meditating immersed in my vision of the world from which I made and all things in the universe are made. The aesthetics of my work is rooted in my childhood influenced by my Mother's craftmanship in the techniques of blackwork embroidery and hand embroidery.
In my style I go from the simplicity of a set of lines and stitches to the complexity of an interweaving that compose the order in the total integrated and ordered chaos of the cosmos of my work.

Collective unconscious is a flirtation With the spectator in the pleasure he/she experiences when knowing what the print he/she is observing is about. I make an appropiation of images that are part of popular culture, making references to the structures of the unconscious mind shared among members of the same species. The Collective unconscious is populated by instincts and archetypes that have a profound influence on the lives of individuals Who live their symbols and invest them With meaning through their experiences.

Sands of my solitude is a spice from my heart where I find myself in my own sense of life. Death of the Ego! Before I painted from the perspective of showing my skills as a cartoonist, now my works begin to take on an emotional value.
I paint what vibrates from my inner vision and I express myself through what I feel. As a creator, I experience the connection that exists between the universe and all forms of expression of life as a plot in which we are all interconnected from consciousness. Sands of my solitude is an introspection space to meditate with myself that perpetuates in all directions and from the silence and solitude I emerge and listen to myself.
