Sanjukta Arun is a well-known contemporary artist based in Mumbai. She is the curator and founder of La Aartemisia Studio and Gallery, Mumbai. With an MBA in Sales & Marketing and a Diploma in International Business, Sanjukta embarked on her artistic journey about 29 years ago, following her inner calling and making art her profession after a short stint in the corporate sector.

Over the years, she has gained recognition among art lovers and connoisseurs, carving a niche for herself in the industry. Having trained extensively in art, she has participated in 70 exhibitions, including 26 solo shows and 5 online solo shows, both in India and overseas. Her recent exhibition, held at Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, and Nehru Centre, Mumbai, showcased her paintings.

Sanjukta is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly for children battling cancer and those with special needs, raising funds through art shows for their treatment. She conducts art therapy workshops for corporates and has led art sessions for organizations like the Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Club, including teaching Dharavi school teachers for the Rotary Club. Currently serving as the Immediate President of Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North, she has received numerous awards and recognitions for her contributions to art and culture, including the Mid-Day Powerful Women Award for Iconic Entrepreneur Award for Art & Culture in 2023.

Music is another passion of hers, as she is a trained ghazal singer and has received training in light classical music.
