Tun T Lin is a Burmese Artist. Born in 1982 in Myanmar and he started painting at the age of five. As a small town, it’s very hard to get painting materials like colour pencils and drawing books, but it didn’t stop his passion for painting.

He never gives up on his hobby and dreams. He used turmeric powder for yellow colour, charcoal powder for black colour and indigo powder for blue and so on. Finally, his parents allowed him to go to Yangon in 1998 to study at the State School of Fine Arts, Yangon and graduated with (Fine Art & Traditional Art) in 2001. After leaving the school, he studied art with many senior artists and held his first solo art exhibition.

In late 2006, he moved to the USA. Since leaving Myanmar for the first time, he regularly participates in exhibitions globally. Having lived in the USA, he held a second solo art exhibition during the period 2006-2013. In Yangon, Myanmar. He held a third solo art exhibition.

His paintings are in private collections in France, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, US and UK.

He painted to tell the story about Love, Family, Ego, Pain and the Bonds between us in surrealistic ways. Sometimes his paintings reflect the current situation of the present and also represent the future and the hope as well.
