Jason Zabat
-
Jason is a full-time visual artist who works in both traditional and digital media. He believes his specialization is painting with acrylic on canvas in the traditional manner. His preferred style is a hybrid of Cubism, Geometric art, and Expressionism.
He received his Fine Arts degree from the University of Santo Tomas (Manila) and still pursuing his master's degree there.
Painting and drawing have always been his passions since he was a child, which is why his artworks are signed "Eton," his childhood nickname. That is also why most of his artworks are based on his childhood experiences; in addition, his favourite subjects include the sun, roosters, angels, God, music, films, and animals.
He studied painting techniques ranging from realism to total abstraction and spent a long time honing his skills and also developing his own approach to making art. Now, he wants to share his work with the rest of the world.
He believes that art is a tool for positivity, truth, and therapy, and that it should heal the viewer while also reminding them of the beauty of life. He is also a Luna Galleria Philippines in-house artist. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions, both physical and online, with clients and collectors from all over the Philippines.
