Ashok Kumar is a Visual Artist working freelance in New Delhi, India. He has admitted to the college of art, Patna, Patna University, Graduated and accomplished his study as a bright and brilliant student of the College of Art in the year 1987.
1990, he has received a Scholarship for higher study in fine art at L’Ecole Superieure des Beaux-arts de Marseille, France. He has received an award senior fellowship in painting for 2015-16 from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India 2017.
Ashok Kumar’s creation explores a new vision through the imagination of the human being as an origin that belongs to our cultural diversity with many symbols and signs. He has participated in major national and international workshops, festivals, Art residencies, Biennales and many exhibitions around the world.
