My drawings are pure instinct and the 2 gel pens, one white and one black, are my camera. When I see an image on the web that inspires me, I reproduce it, and sometimes, while looking at the finished drawing, I also write a poem to give voice to my emotions.
Born in Milan (Italy) in 1964, at 22 he began working with numbers and with the strict logic of programming but in 2003, after the birth of his daughter Federica, the emotions of the event and the joy of growing up the best part of themselves, fueled his artistic flame. Thus, since 2012, his poems take shape and through the eyes of the heart, he transmits his sensations to readers; he is a contemporary poet who likes to call himself "The instigator of passion". His poems, in free verse, do not find a precise place in the classical literary currents, they are simply emotions in verse.
The poems of the current of hermeticism by Salvatore Quasimodo are his points of reference and inspiration. The first publication of collections of poems dates back to 2017 with the book "My days.« Zirraragarria »" published by Aletti editore. On November 6, 2021 he participated in the fourth edition of the Biennial of Contemporary Art of Salerno presenting the new complete collection of poems "What is not seen" published by Crosslink edizioni.
The international event contributed to establishing new friendships for future collaborations with the art world of Central and South America. On 20 December 2021 he participated in the third edition of Expolatina de Arte in Cartago in Colombia, visible via the web on the ArtSteps digital platform. In 2022 he returns to his first love, drawing and some of his drawings will be exhibited from 16 to 25 July 2022 at the Antiquarum Museum in Merì for the exhibition “IKIGAI - Art, The reason for living”.
